Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver

Protect each other and show them no mercy!

Science FictionActionAdventure

The rebels gear up for battle against the ruthless forces of the Motherworld as unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge — and legends are made.

Why watch Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver

Sofia Boutella returns as Kora in Zack Snyder's second installment of his space-opera epic, and this is where the ragtag rebellion transforms into a forge of mythic proportions. Part Two abandons restraint entirely—expect the operatic scale of Dune: Part Two colliding with the visceral, slow-motion brutality Snyder made his calling card. This isn't prestige sci-fi meditation; it's unapologetic spectacle built on genuine character stakes.

The ensemble cast clicks with the kind of chemistry that recalls the best ensemble-driven blockbusters. Boutella anchors it all with a warrior's gravity, while Djimon Hounsou, Bae Doona, and the rest of the motley crew sharpen each other into something approaching legend. Snyder's direction finds moments of surprising intimacy between the bombast—quiet conversations that matter before the next explosion reshapes the battlefield.

This is pure, unfiltered blockbuster storytelling for the nights when you want to feel something on a massive scale. If you've been waiting for a space-western that swings for the fences without apology, or if you just need two hours of gorgeous destruction and characters you've come to care about, this delivers. You'll be replaying the final battle sequences for weeks.

Zack sure likes farming. What a pile of crap. I liked the first one well enough.

Better than the first because it have more action scenes; Great action scenes all around; CGI is great almost all the times, less in others (like when the cannons where falling of the ship); Acting is so-so; Snyder passion for it is visible; Even so, being a 3 movies story (if I am right), it seems too little - they worked too much in several characters that don't have time to show potential; The fu…Show more

Weaker, but still suitably watchable. <em>'Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver'</em> is a more action-packed entry to the franchise, despite that I didn't hold as much interest in this as I did for the previous installment. I did, mind, like seeing the battles commence, both in terms of action and effects. Sofia Boutella is enjoyable once more, but Ed Skrein isn't as interesting this time around; I would've pr…Show more

First part was great and second one is continuing of its success. Another great movie. Good actors, good story, no agenda and BS.

Enjoyed the first one and was looking forward to seeing where they took it. They took it straight to the bottom. This is unquestionably the worst major studio movie I have ever watched. It's the same story as the first, fighting over a few acres of wheat. The acting is flat, the combat scenes are a joke, the writing isn't even what I would consider a first draft. But if you like watching people harvest wheat in slow…Show more
